At the heart of everything we do is our food. Our skilled Thai chefs prepare authentic dishes using fresh ingredients and bold, balanced flavours — from fragrant green curries and fiery stir-fries to delicate dim sum and crowd-favourite sharing platters.
Our signature dishes tell the story of Thailand’s rich culinary heritage. The Crispy Duck & Pancakes — tender, slow-roasted duck wrapped in delicate pancakes with hoisin, cucumber, and spring onion — are a table favourite. The Weeping Tiger, a chargrilled sirloin steak served with our fiery chilli and lime dipping sauce, captures the smoky intensity of Thai street-food culture. And for something beautifully different, the Thai Honey Red Pork brings sweet, savoury, and aromatic notes together in perfect harmony.
Beyond our main menu, we also serve traditional Sunday roasts with all the trimmings — our countryside take on a British classic — and our Sky High Afternoon Tea is the perfect excuse to gather friends for an indulgent midweek or weekend treat.

- Seven private heated domes — our signature dining experience. Each dome is fitted with Dyson heaters, fairy lights, and Bluetooth speakers, making them perfect for intimate dinners, birthday celebrations, and special occasions in every season. Our super-sized Diamond Dome seats up to 14 guests for larger gatherings.
- The grand tipi — a stunning centrepiece that hosts up to 80 guests for private parties, wedding receptions, and seasonal celebrations, complete with a central firepit and a canopy of fairy lights.
- The garden — featured in The Sunday Times (March 2023) for its beauty, our expansive garden is anchored by an iconic willow tree, with festoon lighting, a sun-drenched terrace, and a tree swing that makes every visit feel like an escape from the everyday.
- The restaurant and bar — warm, inviting, and filled with character, our indoor spaces are equally perfect for a midweek dinner or a cosy weekend catch-up.
Botanical Cocktails, Boba Tea & Craft Beers
Our drinks menu is every bit as adventurous as our food. At the bar, our team crafts botanical cocktails using house-made syrups infused with fresh lemongrass, clove, ginger, and coconut — each drink a carefully balanced blend of Thai-inspired flavours and classic mixology.
Try the White Elephant for something smooth and tropical, the Fifi-boba for a playful twist with tapioca pearls, or the Botanical Sky — our signature cocktail that captures the spirit of our venue in a glass.
We also serve boba bubble teas in a rainbow of flavours, specialty coffee, a curated wine list, champagne, and a rotating selection of craft beers from local and international breweries. Easy to Reach, Impossible to Forget
Bamboo Sky is located in Bourn, Cambridgeshire, just ten minutes west of Cambridge city centre. We’re easy to reach by car with ample free parking, and the peaceful countryside location makes the short journey feel like a world away from the everyday.
We’re open Tuesday to Sunday, with evening service from 5pm on weekdays and full-day dining from 11am on Fridays and Saturdays.
